The down-firing enclosure places the drivers in the bottom panel, where the floor or support surface becomes part of the acoustic loading and shapes the bass dispersion. Constructed with a simple rectangle shape from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material, the cabinet has external dimensions of 415 × 390 × 412 mm (16.34 × 15.39 × 16.24 in). A double-thickness front baffle increases cabinet rigidity and reduces front-panel flex, making the box suitable for high-output subwoofer systems.
