Single 12-inch Vented / Bass-Reflex Subwoofer Box - 40 L / 35 Hz

This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for a single 12-inch round subwoofer, featuring a 40 L chamber tuned to 35 Hz. Built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material in a simple rectangle shape, the cabinet measures 678 × 378 × 272 mm (26.63 × 14.92 × 10.71 in). It includes a double-thickness front baffle to increase rigidity and reduce panel flex, making it ideal for high-output systems. The design uses one L-shaped slot port with an area suitable for high-output drivers with increased cone excursion and airflow demand. This versatile enclosure functions as a general-purpose home subwoofer for music and stereo systems, balancing bass extension and low distortion, while also being optimized for everyday car-audio use with consideration for trunk space, installation constraints, and balanced sound.
