The simple rectangle cabinet is built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material with external dimensions of 500 × 422 × 446 mm (19.66 × 16.65 × 17.57 in). Using a vented (bass-reflex) design, the enclosure features a 65 L chamber tuned to 27 Hz and uses one round port with a port area suitable for drivers with moderate cone excursion and airflow demand. This down-firing enclosure mounts the drivers in the bottom panel so that the floor or support surface becomes part of the acoustic loading and shapes the bass dispersion, while a double-thickness front baffle increases cabinet rigidity and reduces flex for high-output systems.
