Single 12-inch Rectangular Vented / Bass-Reflex Subwoofer Box

This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for a single 12-inch rectangular subwoofer, featuring a 30 L chamber tuned to 35 Hz. Built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material in a simple rectangle shape, the external dimensions are 611 × 359 × 264 mm (24.03 × 14.14 × 10.43 in). The design utilizes one L-shaped slot port with an area suitable for high-output drivers with increased cone excursion and airflow demand. This versatile cabinet is engineered for everyday car-audio use, considering limited trunk space and installation constraints, while also serving as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems that balances bass extension, size, output, and low distortion for a balanced sound.
