Single 8-inch Rectangular Vented / Bass-Reflex Subwoofer Box - 20 L / 38 Hz

This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for a single 8-inch rectangular subwoofer and features a 20 L chamber tuned to 38 Hz. Built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material with a simple rectangle shape, the cabinet measures 548 × 281 × 234 mm (21.51 × 11.1 × 9.24 in). It includes a double-thickness front baffle to increase rigidity and reduce panel flex, making it ideal for high-output subwoofer systems. One L-shaped slot port provides a port area suitable for high-output drivers with increased cone excursion and airflow demand. This design serves as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure that balances bass extension, size, and low distortion, while also being optimized for everyday car-audio use where trunk space and installation constraints are key.
