Dual 8-inch Round Vented / Bass-Reflex Subwoofer Box

This simple rectangle cabinet is designed for two 8-inch round subwoofer drivers and built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material. With external dimensions of 540 × 287 × 287 mm (21.24 × 11.31 × 11.31 in), the enclosure features a 30 L chamber tuned to 38 Hz. The design utilizes a vented (bass-reflex) enclosure with one L-shaped slot port, offering a port area suitable for high-output drivers with increased cone excursion and airflow demand. It serves as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems, balancing bass extension, size, output, and low distortion, while also being ideal for everyday car-audio use where limited trunk space and installation constraints require balanced sound.
