Descripción

This simple rectangular cabinet is built from 18 mm (3/4 inch) material and is designed for a single 15-inch rectangular subwoofer. The vented (bass-reflex) enclosure features a 85 L chamber tuned to 32 Hz and utilizes one L-shaped slot port with an area suitable for high-output drivers with increased cone excursion and airflow demand. Its double-thickness front baffle increases cabinet rigidity and reduces front-panel flex, making the box suitable for high-output subwoofer systems. The external cabinet dimensions are 674 × 495 × 387 mm (26.99 × 19.52 × 15.25 in). This design serves as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems that balances bass extension, cabinet size, output and low distortion, while also being optimized for everyday car-audio use by taking limited trunk space, installation constraints and balanced sound into account.
