Single 8-inch Vented / Bass-Reflex Subwoofer Box - 20 L / 38 Hz

This 20 L Vented / Bass-Reflex enclosure is designed for a single 8-inch subwoofer, featuring a chamber tuned to 38 Hz. Constructed from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material in a simple rectangle shape, the external dimensions are 510 × 281 × 234 mm (20.04 × 11.1 × 9.24 in). It serves as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems, balancing bass extension, cabinet size, output, and low distortion. Additionally, it is optimized for everyday car-audio use, accounting for limited trunk space, installation constraints, and balanced sound. The design incorporates one L-shaped slot port with an area suitable for high-output drivers with increased cone excursion and airflow demand.
