This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for a single 12-inch round subwoofer, featuring a 65 L chamber precisely tuned to 27 Hz. Built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material in a simple rectangle shape, the cabinet measures 495 × 489 × 423 mm (19.47 × 19.26 × 16.66 in) (width × height × depth). This general-purpose home enclosure for music and stereo systems expertly balances bass extension, cabinet size, output, and low distortion. The down-firing design mounts the driver in the bottom panel so the floor or support surface becomes part of the acoustic loading and shapes the bass dispersion.
