Ventajas
Shallow mount sub with inverted surround for even more clearance.
Desventajas
Typical cons of shallow subs such as, shorter excursions, weaker motor structure, lower RMS than other subs at similar price point, etc.
Total
For a lower level sub the SD-3 is a GOOD SOUNDING speaker. it can handle power well into it's printed peak and it is actually power hungry for a speaker with lower specified RMS. I'd like to be able to play with the enclosure a little more like try it in a ported box but it's not made for bass reflex type enclosures limiting the types of box it can be fitted within.
