Descrição

Designed for a single 12-inch round subwoofer, this general-purpose home enclosure for music and stereo systems balances bass extension, cabinet size, output, and low distortion. The design uses a 40 L Closed (sealed-box) chamber tuned to 38 Hz. The simple rectangle cabinet is built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material with external dimensions of 450 × 351 × 373 mm (17.7 × 13.84 × 14.71 in). This down-firing enclosure features drivers mounted in the bottom panel, allowing the floor or support surface to become part of the acoustic loading and shape the bass dispersion. A double-thickness front baffle increases cabinet rigidity and reduces front-panel flex, making the box suitable for high-output subwoofer systems.
