Single 12-inch Rectangular Vented / Bass-Reflex Subwoofer Box - 40 L / 35 Hz

Designed for a single 12-inch rectangular subwoofer, this vented (bass-reflex) enclosure features a 40 L chamber tuned to 35 Hz. The cabinet is a simple rectangle constructed from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material with external dimensions of 638 × 378 × 272 mm (25.08 × 14.92 × 10.71 in). This design serves as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems, balancing bass extension, size, output, and low distortion. It is also ideal for everyday car-audio use, considering limited trunk space, installation constraints, and balanced sound. The box includes one L-shaped slot port with a port area suitable for high-output drivers with increased cone excursion and airflow demand.
