Descrição

This general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems balances bass extension, cabinet size, output, and low distortion. Designed for a single 10-inch round subwoofer, this Vented (bass-reflex) enclosure features a 40 L chamber tuned to 30 Hz. The down-firing enclosure places the drivers in the bottom panel, where the floor or support surface becomes part of the acoustic loading and shapes the bass dispersion. Constructed with a simple rectangle shape from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material, the cabinet has external dimensions of 415 × 390 × 412 mm (16.34 × 15.39 × 16.24 in). A double-thickness front baffle increases cabinet rigidity and reduces front-panel flex, making the box suitable for high-output subwoofer systems. The design uses one round port with a port area suitable for high-output drivers with increased cone excursion and airflow demand.
