Description
This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for a single 8-inch rectangular subwoofer, featuring a 20 L chamber tuned to 38 Hz. Built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material in a simple rectangle shape, the cabinet measures 544 × 264 × 237 mm (21.37 × 10.4 × 9.36 in). It includes one internal brace to reinforce the panels and reduce vibration, making it suitable for high-output systems. The design utilizes one L-shaped slot port with an area optimized for high-output drivers with increased cone excursion and airflow demand. This versatile box balances bass extension, size, and low distortion, serving as a general-purpose home subwoofer for music or a space-efficient solution for everyday car-audio use.
