Advantages
Compares well to any rivals. Advertised 14mm Xmax (one way-linear). A great small box solution if you can find one.

Produced 2018 through 2019, about 18 months; a popular but definitely niche product. Headquartered/designed in North Carolina and made in China. Had a cult-like following due to the SPL marketing and very good reviews. They were hard to get as they operated a pre-order system.

Power Acoustik MOFO-124X
Fs: 30.3 Hz, Vas: 38.3l, Qts: 0.44
Rating
Advantages
For the price you can't really get a better deal on a high excursion competition subwoofer while it doesn't quite rate in the range of some of the higher end brands it absolutely holds its own on the floor The heavy duty foam roll surround maintains its rigidity for good recoil over the course of its life.
Disadvantages
Maine disadvantage to the subwoofer is the fact that the cone is made of paper pressed rather than a more durable material and regular use tends to make it sustain damage easily I had two of them I wore holes through the paper cones within 3 months on both of them.
Total
Overall I was pleased with the cost and performance of these subwoofers for my daily driving vehicle.

I have used 2 of these, they are very heavy and work well. The high motor power makes them much less prone to peaking than cheaper speakers.

Installed in a sealed enclosure of approximately 24L, filled about 30–40% with synthetic fiber. Powered by an Alpine PDX-M12. I was initially concerned it might lack low-end around 30Hz, but it performs beautifully, more than enough for daily use. Comparing the ULTIMO to the ULTIMO Ti (in a 35L sealed box), the ULTIMO delivers noticeably fuller low-end. The bass feels more massive, though slightly slower overall. Not better or worse, just different. And for me, it’s exactly what I was looking for. Strangely, many people run ULTIMO/ULTIMO Ti in 40–45L sealed enclosures. Some even claim 50L works great, but others can't seem to get the sound right. Based on my experience, the ULTIMO 124 can sound really juicy in a 25–30L sealed setup.
