Description

I found that EBP for this woofer with it's stock parameters is almost ideally between closed and vented box. So, I tried to simulate all types of boxes (except passive radiator box) which are matching my stock recomendations and needs - see my other projects. Just BP4 overpasses a little bit the dashed line in group delay above 20 Hz. All boxes are relatively easy to build. The vented is the loudest at lows, so this is on 3D. Port areas for BP4: 329x54mm, and BP6 - font: 349x54 mm, - rear: 349x119mm.

Description

I have simulated a vented box using WinISD, then a vented box using SBL - this is on 3D designer - speaker not overpassing it's Xmax at higher frequencies than the Fb, and the port is a perfect labyrinth. The WinISD box overpasses a bit the Xmax in SBL's simulator, but it is a bit louder, and a bit more compact - shorter port. The port is a bit larger than the min. recomended. I have built this box, sounds very clean, no port noise, and it performs and work maybe a bit better than on the simulator :) .

Description

I creared this project as a comparison-project for my previous 3 projects for this woofer. Red - closed box with ideal RMS power handling down to 10 Hz, green - vented box with ideal power handling down to 10 Hz, blue - vented box with ideal power handling down to 20 Hz. In simulations I used 60 Hz / 12 dB cabin gain. On 3D is the box with the blue lines on Graphs.

Description

I created this project as an example that it is possible to build a vented box for this woofer which have outer dimensions which allows it to install inside any normal car's trunk, and have ideal RMS power handling down to 10 Hz + sounds good. For simulation I used cabin gain 60 Hz / 12 dB.

Advantages

лёгкая подвижка,быстро отыгрывает низа,легко играет от 500-700 ват в 1 Ом.

Disadvantages

Total

сделал щель на 32Гц,165л чистого,играет от dls mad-15 на низких треках греется катушка,всего скорей номинал завышен в несколько раз.
