Description
This general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems balances bass extension, cabinet size, output, and low distortion. Designed for a single 12-inch round subwoofer, the vented (bass-reflex) box features a 65 L chamber tuned to 27 Hz. This down-firing enclosure houses drivers mounted in the bottom panel, allowing the floor or support surface to become part of the acoustic loading and shape the bass dispersion. It utilizes one L-shaped slot port with a port area suitable for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented use with high airflow demand. The cabinet has a Simple Rectangle shape built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material with external dimensions of 520 × 515 × 445 mm (20.46 × 20.28 × 17.54 in).
