Description

This Vented / Bass-Reflex enclosure is designed for a single 12-inch rectangular subwoofer and features a 45 L chamber tuned to 32 Hz. Constructed from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material in a simple rectangle shape, the external dimensions are 599 × 407 × 366 mm (23.59 × 16.03 × 14.43 in). The design utilizes one L-shaped slot port with a port area suitable for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented use requiring high airflow. One internal brace reinforces the cabinet and reduces panel vibration, making it ideal for high-output systems. This versatile enclosure is designed for everyday car-audio use—balancing limited trunk space and installation constraints with balanced sound—while also serving as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems that balances bass extension, cabinet size, output, and low distortion.
