Description

This 40 L Vented / Bass-Reflex enclosure is designed for a single 12-inch rectangular subwoofer, tuned to 35 Hz. Built from 18 mm (3/4 inch) material in a simple rectangle shape, the external dimensions are 607 × 392 × 353 mm (24.3 × 15.5 × 13.95 in). One internal brace reinforces the cabinet and reduces panel vibration, making it suitable for high-output systems. It features a single L-shaped slot port with an area ideal for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented use with high airflow demand. The design serves as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems, balancing bass extension, size, output, and low distortion, while also being suitable for everyday car-audio use where trunk space and installation constraints are key.
