Description

This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for a single 8-inch rectangular subwoofer, featuring a 20 L chamber professionally tuned to 38 Hz. Built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material in a simple rectangle shape, the cabinet measures 548 × 285 × 256 mm (21.54 × 11.23 × 10.11 in). It includes one internal brace to reinforce the structure and reduce panel vibration, making it ideal for high-output subwoofer systems. The design utilizes one L-shaped slot port with an area suitable for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented use requiring high airflow. Whether used as a general-purpose home subwoofer for music and stereo systems or for everyday car-audio use, it balances bass extension, cabinet size, and low distortion while respecting limited trunk space and installation constraints.
