Dual 12-inch Vented / Bass-Reflex Subwoofer Box

This Vented / Bass-Reflex enclosure is designed for 2-driver 12-inch round subwoofer systems, balancing bass extension, cabinet size, output, and low distortion for both home stereo systems and everyday car audio use. The simple rectangle cabinet is built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material with external dimensions of 975 × 396 × 396 mm (38.32 × 15.6 × 15.6 in). To ensure suitability for high-output systems, a double-thickness front baffle increases rigidity and minimizes panel flex. The 70 L chamber is tuned to 35 Hz using one L-shaped slot port, which provides a port area ideal for large-excursion drivers and high-airflow SPL applications while respecting installation constraints and limited trunk space.
