Description
This simple rectangle cabinet is built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material and features external dimensions of 817 × 369 × 369 mm (32.14 × 14.55 × 14.55 in). The box is designed for a 2-driver 12-inch rectangular subwoofer using a vented (bass-reflex) enclosure. It is engineered for everyday car-audio use by taking limited trunk space, installation constraints, and balanced sound into account, while also serving as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems that balances bass extension, cabinet size, output, and low distortion. The enclosure has a 70 L chamber tuned to 35 Hz and uses one L-shaped slot port. The port area is suitable for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented use with high airflow demand.
