Description
This simple rectangle cabinet is constructed from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material and is designed specifically for two 8-inch round subwoofer drivers. The 50 L chamber is tuned to 34 Hz using a vented (bass-reflex) design with one L-shaped slot port. Its port area is optimized for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented applications with high airflow demands. Measuring 674 × 328 × 328 mm (26.52 × 12.94 × 12.94 in), the enclosure balances bass extension, size, and low distortion for home stereo systems while remaining compact enough for everyday car-audio use where trunk space and installation constraints are key.
