Description

This Vented / Bass-Reflex enclosure is designed for a single 12-inch rectangular subwoofer, featuring a 40 L chamber tuned to 33 Hz. Constructed as a simple rectangle from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material, the external dimensions measure 593 × 399 × 359 mm (23.31 × 15.72 × 14.15 in). One internal brace reinforces the cabinet and reduces panel vibration, making it suitable for high-output subwoofer systems. The design uses one L-shaped slot port with a port area optimized for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented use with high airflow demand. It serves as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems by balancing bass extension, cabinet size, output, and low distortion. Additionally, it is ideal for everyday car-audio use, considering limited trunk space, installation constraints, and balanced sound.
