Description

This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for a single 12-inch rectangular subwoofer, featuring a 40 L chamber tuned to 33 Hz with one L-shaped slot port. Built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material with a simple rectangle shape, the external dimensions are 582 × 359 × 323 mm (22.88 × 14.14 × 12.73 in). One internal brace reinforces the cabinet and reduces panel vibration, making it suitable for high-output systems. The port area is optimized for high-output drivers with increased cone excursion and airflow demand. This design is perfect for everyday car-audio use, considering limited trunk space and installation constraints, or as a general-purpose home subwoofer for music and stereo systems that balances bass extension, size, output, and low distortion.
