Single 12-inch Vented / Bass-Reflex Subwoofer Box - 40 L / 35 Hz

This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for a single 12-inch round subwoofer, featuring a 40 L chamber tuned to 35 Hz. Built as a simple rectangle from 18 mm (3/4 inch) material, the cabinet has external dimensions of 757 × 419 × 286 mm (30.45 × 16.54 × 11.28 in). It utilizes one L-shaped slot port with an area suitable for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented use requiring high airflow. The double-thickness front baffle increases cabinet rigidity and reduces front-panel flex, making the box ideal for high-power systems. This design is perfect for everyday car-audio use, balancing limited trunk space and installation constraints with balanced sound, while also serving as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure that optimizes bass extension, size, and low distortion.
