Single 8-inch Rectangular Vented / Bass-Reflex Subwoofer Box - 15 L / 38 Hz

This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for a single 8-inch rectangular subwoofer, featuring a 15 L chamber tuned to 38 Hz. Built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material, the simple rectangle cabinet has external dimensions of 529 × 296 × 240 mm (20.77 × 11.68 × 9.48 in). The design utilizes one L-shaped slot port with an area suitable for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented use with high airflow demand. It serves as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems, balancing bass extension, cabinet size, output, and low distortion. Additionally, it is optimized for everyday car-audio use, accounting for limited trunk space, installation constraints, and balanced sound.
