Single 8-inch Vented / Bass-Reflex Subwoofer Enclosure - 25 L / 35 Hz

This Vented / Bass-Reflex enclosure is designed for a single 8-inch round subwoofer, featuring a 25 L chamber tuned to 35 Hz. Built as a simple rectangle from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material, the cabinet measures 578 × 303 × 243 mm (22.69 × 11.94 × 9.58 in). It incorporates a double-thickness front baffle to increase rigidity and reduce panel flex, making it ideal for high-output subwoofer systems. The design utilizes one L-shaped slot port with an area optimized for high-output drivers with increased cone excursion and airflow demand. This versatile enclosure balances bass extension, size, and low distortion, making it suitable for both home stereo systems and everyday car-audio use where trunk space and installation constraints are key considerations.
