Description

This 40 L Vented / Bass-Reflex enclosure is designed for a single 12-inch round subwoofer and is tuned to 33 Hz using one L-shaped slot port. Built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material in a simple rectangle shape, the cabinet features external dimensions of 618 × 399 × 359 mm (24.29 × 15.72 × 14.15 in). A double-thickness front baffle and one internal brace increase rigidity and reduce panel vibration, making it ideal for high-output systems. The port area is specifically suited for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented use requiring high airflow. This versatile design serves as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems, balancing bass extension, size, and low distortion, while also being optimized for everyday car-audio use where trunk space and installation constraints are key.
