Description

Designed for a single 12-inch round subwoofer, this vented (Bass-Reflex) residential audio enclosure features a 65 L chamber tuned to 27 Hz. The simple rectangle shape is constructed from 18 mm (3/4 inch) material with external dimensions of 496 × 440 × 464 mm (19.79 × 17.32 × 18.27 in). As a down-firing enclosure with drivers mounted in the bottom panel, the floor or support surface becomes part of the acoustic loading and shapes the bass dispersion. This general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems balances bass extension, cabinet size, output, and low distortion. It utilizes one round port with a port area suitable for high-output drivers with increased cone excursion and airflow demand.
