Description

This Vented / Bass-Reflex enclosure is designed for a 2-driver 12-inch rectangular subwoofer, balancing bass extension, cabinet size, output, and low distortion for general-purpose home music and stereo systems. Built from 18 mm (3/4 inch) material in a Simple Rectangle shape, the cabinet features external dimensions of 993 × 399 × 399 mm (39.74 × 15.73 × 15.73 in). A double-thickness front baffle increases rigidity and reduces flex, making it ideal for high-output systems. The 80 L chamber is tuned to 35 Hz using one L-shaped slot port with an area optimized for high-airflow SPL use and large-excursion drivers. This design also suits everyday car-audio use by accounting for limited trunk space and installation constraints to deliver a balanced sound.
