Description

This general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems provides an ideal balance of bass extension, cabinet size, output, and low distortion. Designed for a single 12-inch round subwoofer, this vented (Bass-Reflex) enclosure features a 65 L chamber tuned to 27 Hz. The down-firing enclosure mounts drivers in the bottom panel so that the floor or support surface becomes part of the acoustic loading and shapes the bass dispersion. Built from 18 mm (3/4 inch) material in a Simple Rectangle shape, the external cabinet dimensions are 533 × 516 × 446 mm (21.3 × 20.35 × 17.6 in). It utilizes one L-shaped slot port with a port area suitable for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented use with high airflow demand.
