Description

This dual-driver 12-inch round subwoofer enclosure is designed for high-performance audio in both car and home environments. Built from 18 mm (3/4 inch) material in a simple rectangle shape, the cabinet features external dimensions of 910 × 376 × 376 mm (36.47 × 14.85 × 14.85 in). The design utilizes a Vented / Bass-Reflex system with an 80 L chamber tuned to 35 Hz and one L-shaped slot port. This port area is specifically optimized for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented use with high airflow demands. To ensure maximum structural integrity for high-output systems, a double-thickness front baffle increases rigidity and minimizes front-panel flex. The enclosure serves as a general-purpose solution for music and stereo systems, balancing bass extension, cabinet size, and low distortion, while also considering trunk space and installation constraints for daily car-audio use.
