Description

This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for a single 10-inch round subwoofer, providing a 35 L chamber tuned to 34 Hz. The cabinet features a simple rectangle shape constructed from 18 mm (3/4 inch) material with external dimensions of 595 × 355 × 319 mm (23.85 × 14.01 × 12.61 in). One internal brace reinforces the cabinet and reduces panel vibration, making it ideal for high-output subwoofer systems. Utilizing one L-shaped slot port, the design offers a port area suitable for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented use with high airflow demand. This enclosure is perfect for everyday car-audio use where trunk space and installation constraints are factors, or as a general-purpose home subwoofer for music and stereo systems, as it balances bass extension, cabinet size, output, and low distortion.
