Description

This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for a single 12-inch round subwoofer, featuring a 40 L chamber tuned to 35 Hz. Built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material with a simple rectangle shape, the external dimensions are 590 × 391 × 352 mm (23.2 × 15.41 × 13.87 in). It utilizes one L-shaped slot port with an area suitable for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented use requiring high airflow. One internal brace reinforces the cabinet and reduces panel vibration, making it ideal for high-output systems. This design works as a general-purpose home subwoofer for music and stereo systems, balancing bass extension, cabinet size, output, and low distortion, while also being suitable for everyday car-audio use where trunk space, installation constraints, and balanced sound are key.
