Description

This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for 2-driver 12-inch round subwoofer systems, utilizing a 60 L chamber tuned to 35 Hz with one L-shaped slot port. Built as a simple rectangle from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material, the cabinet measures 826 × 363 × 363 mm (32.48 × 14.3 × 14.3 in). The double-thickness front baffle increases rigidity and reduces flex, making it suitable for high-output subwoofer systems. The port area is optimized for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented use with high airflow demand. This design serves as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems, balancing bass extension, size, and low distortion, while also being ideal for everyday car-audio use where trunk space and installation constraints require a balanced sound.
