Description
This Vented / Bass-Reflex enclosure is designed for dual 8-inch rectangular subwoofer drivers and features a simple rectangle shape built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material. With external dimensions of 540 × 287 × 287 mm (21.24 × 11.31 × 11.31 in), the cabinet is engineered for everyday car-audio use where trunk space and installation constraints are important, as well as for general-purpose home stereo systems. The design balances bass extension, output, and low distortion using a 30 L chamber tuned to 38 Hz. It incorporates one L-shaped slot port with a port area suitable for high-output drivers with increased cone excursion and airflow demand.
