Description
This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for a single 15-inch round subwoofer, featuring a 65 L chamber tuned to 33 Hz. Constructed from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material in a simple rectangle shape, the external dimensions are 645 × 473 × 426 mm (25.36 × 18.65 × 16.79 in). The cabinet utilizes a double-thickness front baffle and one internal brace to increase rigidity and reduce vibration, making it suitable for high-output systems. For everyday car-audio use, the design balances sound quality with installation constraints and trunk space, while also serving as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure that optimizes bass extension, size, and low distortion. One L-shaped slot port provides a port area ideal for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented applications with high airflow demand.
