Description

This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for a single 8-inch rectangular subwoofer, featuring a 20 L chamber tuned to 38 Hz. Built with a simple rectangle shape from 18 mm (3/4 inch) material, the cabinet measures 570 × 286 × 258 mm (22.89 × 11.32 × 10.19 in). The design incorporates one L-shaped slot port with a port area suitable for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented use with high airflow demand. One internal brace reinforces the cabinet and reduces panel vibration, making it ideal for high-output systems. Whether used as a general-purpose home subwoofer for music and stereo systems or in everyday car-audio applications, it balances bass extension, cabinet size, output, and low distortion while respecting limited trunk space and installation constraints.
