Advantages
Only had for a couple weeks and haven't tuned it, but without that sounds hands down unique and I absolutely love it. I know it will only get better but to start out this good sounding out of the box, I adjusted the input sensitivity only twice and have my attenuator knob in the front. That's been plenty to enjoy great bass across a variety of music. Running it at 4 ohms on JL Audio 600/1v2, target is 400 watts RMS, haven't done calculation but started out with recommended 40 volt output from the amp with a 0 db test tone. I tuned down the head unit output to -5 db and readjusted, have kept it there for now. Using a prefab sealed enclosure estimated around 1.05 l, while I'm building my own. I couldn't let it sit on the shelf and found a good prefab box by Atrend, it seems higher quality than other prefab boxes, pretty solid, 3/4, plenty of glue. I have zero stuffing. The only mod i did to the prefab box is a gasket of foam weather tape and I also sealed up the terminal box. Again, building my own now.
Disadvantages
A grill option or specifications would be nice to have as well as more information to help pick between D2 and D4 if only running one sub. I had more options amp wise but went with 4 ohm based on varied external reviews.
