Pretty good build quality and solid basket make me look forward to putting this driver in a specially designed box. Had this sub temporarily in my older box with far too little volume and it played ok, even though the delay and placement in said box were far from optimal. I don't have any on-hand experience with high end woofers, but I am pretty sure you could get more precise and effective drivers at this size and weight. It feels a little overbuilt for what I am getting out of it, that's why the rating is "only" 4 stars.
