Description

My personal needs: not overpass the Xmax at 20 Hz and above in a ported box. I find out that theres no way to create such a box using the stock Pe with the woofer's basket inside, just with the RMS power. I simulated 3 ported boxes using 1x stock Pe, 2x RMS power, the recomended box (stock Pe and RMS power), and a box in WinISD with RMS power, this is on 3D, this will sound the most natural, but the other boxes are much simple and a bit compact. For other Vb/Fb see the Graphs History to try design them.

Description

I have simulated the boxes from my previous project: the woofer's RMS powered ported boxes with 9.3 and 9 mm cone displacement at 20 Hz and above, the WinISD box, and the recomended box. Then I find out that in JBL's recomended ported box the woofer overpasses Xmax around 25-26 Hz, but in JBL's recomended sealed box the cone displacement is 7.3 mm, so I decided to design a ported box for 7.3 mm cone displacement at 20 Hz and above - in all aspects it is very similar to WinISD box, it is on 3D.
