Advantages

awesome subwoofer. very clean hard bass. pushes lots of air. doesn't require a huge box. beautiful white basket. lots of bandwidth.

Disadvantages

haven't found any yet

I have used a ton of subs and builds. I have had a few beginner setups that was cheaper but more of the top be brands. sundown, ascendent audio, fi audio, crossfire and American bass. these are my favorite 18s so far. these I like much more then the zv3 18s I had from sundown. these like the low notes better and will take a ton of power as long as it's clean power. these things are about 75 pounds a piece. I have 4 of these, so the box specs I left is per sub. my wall is 11 cubes sealed side and 26 cubes ported side tuned to 42. I can hit 21hz to 60hz but it really shines between 25-50.
