This Vented / Bass-Reflex enclosure is specifically designed for 2-driver 12-inch rectangular subwoofers, providing a versatile solution for both everyday car audio and high-quality home stereo systems. The simple rectangular cabinet is constructed from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material with external dimensions of 881 × 376 × 376 mm (34.62 × 14.82 × 14.82 in). It features an 80 L chamber tuned to 35 Hz using a single L-shaped slot port. To handle high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL demands, the port area is optimized for high airflow, while the double-thickness front baffle increases rigidity and minimizes panel flex. The design balances bass extension, output, and low distortion while considering trunk space and installation constraints.
