Description
This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for a single 15-inch rectangular subwoofer, balancing bass extension, cabinet size, output, and low distortion for general-purpose home stereo systems or everyday car-audio use. Built from 18 mm (3/4 inch) material, the simple rectangle cabinet features a double-thickness front baffle that increases rigidity and reduces flex for high-output systems while considering limited trunk space and installation constraints. The enclosure has a 65 L chamber tuned to 35 Hz and uses one L-shaped slot port with an area suitable for drivers with moderate cone excursion and airflow demand. External cabinet dimensions are 657 × 432 × 337 mm (26.35 × 17.04 × 13.31 in).
