Description
This Vented / Bass-Reflex enclosure is designed for a single 15-inch rectangular subwoofer, featuring an 85 L chamber tuned to 32 Hz. Constructed from 18 mm (3/4 inch) material in a simple rectangle shape, the cabinet has external dimensions of 651 × 496 × 446 mm (25.99 × 19.58 × 17.62 in). One internal brace reinforces the cabinet and reduces panel vibration, making it suitable for high-output systems. The design utilizes one L-shaped slot port with a port area optimized for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented use with high airflow demand. This versatile box serves as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems, balancing bass extension, size, and low distortion, while also being designed for everyday car-audio use where it considers limited trunk space and installation constraints for balanced sound.
