Description

This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for a single 12-inch round subwoofer, featuring a 40 L chamber tuned to 35 Hz. Built from 18 mm (3/4 inch) material in a simple rectangle shape, the external dimensions are 607 × 392 × 353 mm (24.3 × 15.5 × 13.95 in). It utilizes one L-shaped slot port with an area suitable for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented use with high airflow demand. One internal brace reinforces the cabinet and reduces panel vibration, making it ideal for high-output systems. This versatile box is engineered for everyday car-audio use, accounting for limited trunk space and installation constraints, while also serving as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems that balances bass extension, size, output, and low distortion.
