Advantages
I owned 2 of these for my HT, driven by a Crown amp (350 watt RMS). I also listen to one flof them for a while with only 100 watts and it was great. Since having these subs I have owned the Dayton Reference and Ultimax series and still feel that the classic series are arguably the best bang for the buck sub on the market. This 15" was great in a sealed box with a great F3 of ~35. Great build and sound quality, not requiring a lot of power. I would consider using these again.
Disadvantages
The only possible disadvantage would be the optimal vented volume models pretty large. If you have the space, worth it!
Total
Great subwoofer and I highly recommend this and any of the classic series.
