Advantages

Price to performance, this woofer is awesome. I've been running two of these in 4 ohm load (don't ask...) at about 700-800 wrms for about 3 months now. Been pushing them hard and have maxed them out from time to time. Still no damage to the coils, spiders or surround. Not much stink from them either. I must say I'm impressed by these little fellas! And so are other people that hear them. To this day no one belives me when I tell them which size woofers they are.

Disadvantages

There are a few minuses aswell. Don't expect these to run as B2's or DD's (just to take a few examples). These are a bit underrated, but i fear they are not long for this world. Atleast not with my abuse. There are a bit of shortcuts in the manufacturing. On one of my two woofers, the spider in not alligned properly before it was glued. This makes the woofer max out before the other one does. It seems they are running B2's old design ( the old HNX 65), with a different paintjob and some slack in manufacturing. This is just a guess though. The similarities are there for sure. I've been in contact with the supplier, and they're gonna check with GAS about giving me new woofers. BUT! As long as you don't expect to go as hard as 2x12" woofers or doing hair-tricks, you're golden.
