Description

This is a relatively compact simple L-ported box for this woofer optimised using both computation models. I foud the lowest possible Fb + adequate Vb combination which gived just ideal RMS power handling at higher Hzs than Fb (just not overpassing X-max) for both computation models simultaneously. The air velocity adjusted by the simple model to be not higher than 17m/s. The other graphs are very similar on the wanted soundrange + matching my needs/rules that I wrote down many times at my older projects.

Description

In this project I simulated a closed, a vented and a 6th order box for 2 pieces of this woofer. I used stock parameters from SBL database and Pe=RMS power. The closed box is just for comparison, and the other two I optimised to have the biggest possible Vbs and the lowest possible Fbs to have no peak at lower Hz than Fbs with a +3dB=60 Hz/12dB cabin gain + ideal power handling at higher Hz than the Fbs. The vented is a little bit louder, but the 6th order (on 3D) can play cca. 2 Hz lower with full power.
