Designed for a single 8-inch rectangular subwoofer, this vented (bass-reflex) enclosure features a 15 L chamber tuned to 38 Hz. The cabinet is constructed in a simple rectangle shape using 16 mm (5/8 inch) material with external dimensions of 566 × 296 × 240 mm (22.23 × 11.68 × 9.48 in). A double-thickness front baffle increases rigidity and reduces flex, making it ideal for high-output systems. The design utilizes one L-shaped slot port with a port area optimized for large-excursion drivers and high-airflow SPL demands. It serves as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems, balancing bass extension, size, and low distortion, while also being suitable for daily car-audio use where trunk space and installation constraints require a balanced sound.
